I thought it was time to venture out and see what’s up in this swingin’ music town so I shimmied on down to the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis last night to see the great Chuck Prophet spin his tales of redemption, livin’, lust and love. Wonderful songs by a charismatic performer along with an attentive and appreciative audience (how’s that for alliteration) buoyed the spirits and soothed the soul of this particular member of the audience.
